l The subscription in aid of the N.itronal Aviation School have- reached £300,000. (Received August 31, 9 a.m.) LONDON, August 30. Mr S. F. Cody won the £4OOO Army. prise in„a competition, open to tho world. He used a bi-plane. A D Deporduasin monoplane won the* second prize (£2000). Mr Cody also won £IOOO for a biplane of British manufacture. Bristol monoplanes secured two third prizes—£soo each.
