•The Labour Council adopted a resolution tint in view of the high prices of meat, wheat, potatoes, onions? and butter, the import duties should be removed.
A supporter of the resolution declared that the mea'f combine would not allow New.Zealand produce to enter Australia. The mover said the resolution would give tho Trust further work in cornering the New Zealand supplier.
