MASTERTON TECHNICAL SCHOOL

MEETING ,OF MANAGERS

The ordinary monthly meeting of Managers of the Masterton Technical SchooFwas held in tho Technical School rooms on. Friday evening. There were present—Messrs W. 11. Jackson (chairman), J. M. Corad'mo and E. Feist.

TMirf treasurer's report showed a debit balance of £42 16s at date. Accounts amounting to £2 were passed for payment. ' The secretary reported that no capitation, and. ne portion of tho grants in respect of tho current year, allocated by the Trust Lands Trust and the Masterton Borough Council respectively, had yet been received. A letter was received from Mrs Howell, instructress to the classes in dressmaking mid needlework, stating that, she would, resume her duties at the school on Tuesdav, September 10th. The secretary reported that tie third term of the classes at the school was due to commenco on Monday, September 2nd. It was resolved that tho sccrctaiy bo authorised to advertise, announcing the commencement of the term. The report on the working of 'lie classe'j during the term just ending bo presented to tho next ordinary meeting of Managers. Mr Jackson was appointed visiting member for the ensuing month, and tho rwtbig adjourned.
