Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their usual fortnightly sa'e, held at EketahunVon Friday, the 30th inst:—A medium entry,,of shv.op met with keen competition, good hoggets being in good demand and realising up to 15s Id. Our cattle entry principally comprised of dairy stock, which were- in fair and all lines sold at the following price?. Good woolly hoggets 15s Id, slnrn hoggets 10s 5d to 12s 7d. cows in crM £4 to £6 15s, springing heifers £5 10s to £7 7s, empty heifers to £5. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., and Reduced, report on their Eketahuna *■«'»•« held yesterday. We submitted a smalfyarding of sheep and a. fair entry of'cattle. There was a keen demand for all classes of stock, and wf have to report a total clearance :it the following prices:. 2nd and -1-th wethers 18s Id, weaker steers £2 ss, store cows £2 to £3 16s. dairy cows £o 10s to £9 13s, dairy heifers £5 to £6 10s.

Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Eketalnma wilo. held yesterday, as follows:—In sheep our offering was eon fined to one pen of shorn hoggets, which realised 13s lid. We submitted a large yarding of cattle, competition for all classes being solid throughout the sale. Steers were in good demand, whilst heifers and cows showing close to calving found ready purchasers. The following prices were realised: Rising 3-year steers up to £5 13s. rising 2ycar steers up to £4 Is, yearling heifers £2 lis, mixed sex yearlings £2 to £2 Gs. cows showing well £6 to £*% heifers £6 to £7. backward sorts down to £-riOs, fat cows £7. old cows £2 17s to £3 ss.
