TO-DAY'S WEATHER
• NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued tho following report:— The barometer ka<s fallen everywhere, but ; - R now showing a rising tendency. At tho Bluff, northerly winds have prevailed, and moderate to strong generally; but with gales in a fow party of the South Tshnd. Cloudy and gloomy weather lias prevailed with rain in many parts of the country. Present indications are that cloudy and unsettled weather will remain in all parts of the country. The barometer will probably continue to fall in the 'south, though the indications arc not yet definite, and the barometer is unsteady. Winds will probably be variable and strong in parts, northerlies ' predominating in the North .Island, :mkl east to youth-easterly winds in the south.
