CALEDONIAN CONCERT
' AT THE TOWN HALL
TJio Wairarapa Caledonian Society held another of its'series of l Scotch concerts in the Town Hall last evening, when the building was well filled by an enthusiastic audience. The programme was long,and varied, and the quality of the different items was testified to by the applause which greeted each performer. In ■almcet- every ensp recalls had to bo-answered. The concert came quite up to the usual high standard which .we have now come to expect from the Caledonian Society, which seems to have the happy kns-ck of bringing forward tho best talent [procurable. Last evening's concert was presided over by Mr C. Hausmann, who was responsible for the success of tho function. He is ! to bo congratulated upon tho splendid arrangements, which enabled the entertainment to pas? off, smothly. Miss Winnie Jones, A.T.C.S. was a capable accompanist.
