MEMBER'S BRUSH WITH THE SPEAKER.

In the Legislative Assembly, Mr J. J. Cohen, member for Petersham, after a brush with the Speaker (Mr Willis), apologised to tho latter. Later ho asked the Premior (Mr M'Gowen) to protect him from a man with a biased mind, who was endeavouring to injure him.
Tho Speaker ordered the Sergeant-at-Arms to remove Mr Cohen. Mr Cohen, not waiting for the approach of the Sergeant-at-Arms, left the Clnmber, exclaiming: "I will go rather than bo bullied by a man like this, who has no right to do it."
