TO-DAY'S WEATHER
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph—.fress Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following report:—
The hi remoter has fallen everywhere, -with -increasing cloudiness and drizzling rain in northern and southernmost districts and on the wc«t coast of the South Island. Freshening northerly winds prevail, especially ever the Smith Island. A .westerly storm area appeirs to be enveloping the eountrv. Present indications are for increasing northerly winds. Cloudy and unsettled weather with rain probable generally, and heavy on the West Cbist of the South Islard. The barometer will probably .fall, everywhere, but a rise is due after from 21 to 30 hour?, when the wind will change in a south-western direction.
