LONDON, August 27
The floods severed tho Norwich railway communication. The express was held up at Kings Lynn and other trains are at a standstill, the floods extinguishing'the engine fires. railways at Mundesley, Sherringham, and Cromer are closed. The valley of the Verne is flooded, and Thrapston has been transformed into an island, and Corby tunnel has been inundated.
Yesterday tho rainfall was six inches at Norwich. Two wheat exporters from "Bristol motored to the wheat districts, where they found that every field showed out badly, and irretrievably damaged. The conditions a'-e equally bad "in the Vale of Cotswold, due to several days' rain with higher temperatures.
