TO CARRY ON STRIKES

(Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) LONDON, August 24. It is anticipated that the Trade Union Congress will give shape to the Trado Union bank scheme. The bank's chief business will be to accumulate the reserve funds of Trade Unions, to provide money at short notice to enable strikes to he carried on. and so as to overcome the obstruction !• which ordinary banks have prevented a speedy realisation of assets during' industrial disputes.
