DARLINGHURST GAOL
TO BE CONVERTED INTO A HIGH SCHOOL.

SYDNEY, August .24. The Hon. Mr Carmichael has announced that Darlinghurst Gaol will shortly bo vacated and transformed into a High School. He declared that in future boys will bo able to pass from tho_ smallest primary school to the ■ University free of charge.
