WAIRARAPA OFFICERS' CLUB
An enthusiastic and wcV, r.ttended gentral meeting of the Wairarapa Officers' Club was held in the Clubroom, Masterton, on Friday night, Major Oook being in the chair. The rules and by-laws, as submitted by the Provisional Committeee, wore read and adopted. The following office-holders wore elected : —Patron, Major-General Godley; president, Colonel R. W. Tate; hon. secretary and treasurer, Lieut. H. R. Biss. The following officers were appointed to act as a committee: Major Cook, Lieut. A. Jackson. Lieut. N. Cameron, Lieut. E. J. Welch and Lieut. S. Inder. The opening night is being arranged for, and will he lield in the near future. Preparations are also being made for a series of lectures in military instruction.
