CHURCH SERVICES

Rev A. T. Thompson, 8.A., P. 0.. "will conduct both the morning and • evening services at Knox Church tomorrow. The Men's Society wiil meet at 10 a.m. The service at the Methodist Church at 11 a.m. to-morrow will be conducted by the Eov R. H. Todd, of Wellington. At 7 p.m. the Rev S. ■ J. Serpoll will conduct a service in memory of the late General Booth. Mrs Frazer (nee Miss Winnie Nixon) will render a solo in harmony with the occasion. At Kuripuni tho morning service will be conducted by the Rev ' S. J. Serpell. the evening service by the Rev R. H. Todd. At Rangitumnu at 3 p.m. the Rev S. J. Serpell will preach. At the Congregational Church tomorrow tho morning service will be taken bv Mr G. Falla, and. evening service by Mr L. Minifie. The Young Women's Bible Class will meet at 2,30 p.m. Presbyterian Church services will be held at Bideford to-morrow morning, Wangaehu and Kopuaranga in tho afternoon and Lansdowno in the evening. At the Baptist Church,.Murray's Hall, Queen Street, to-morrow. Pastor Swinerd's subjects will be: Morning, "What is a Holy Life?"; .evening. "Justification: The Source of it, tho Ground of it, tho Character ■of it." Tho Salvation Army in Mnstorton will hold a great memorial service in their hall to-morrow evening to tho Sate General William Booth. The serrice will commence at 8 p.m. sharp. Tho ministers of the local churches will bo present to take nart. Rev A. T. Thompson, 8.A., 8.D., will speak. Rev Sorpell will read a specially selected portion of scripture and speak. 'Also Pastor Swinerd and others will tako part. A hearty invitation is extended to all to ho present. The offering will be taken at the door on entering, in order to have the full benefit of timo for the service.
