PEDIGREE HOLSTEIN FRISIANS
KING'S SALE. The long standing dispute as to th* best dairy cows for profit to farmers is still ins (strong as ever, and it is not yet decided whether the full bucket or the high test is the better. There is cue thing that farmers must aim to secure and that is. the combination of the full bucket and the high test. It is quite ..i fallacy to imagine that Holstein cows, which give a full biuket, will not also give a high test. Tliirall depends upon securing the right pedigree stock on which to build up a herd. In this' respect attention is drawn to Mr Newton King's pedigree Holstoin Fresians sale by auction at New Plymouth on 6th September. These pedigree cattle are from Mr King'p celebrated Holstein Stud Farm. All the young bulls niv by King Fayno Scgls IT., or King AU'ar'tra ..Pietze, with family records of 351b of butter in 7 days, and are claimed to be the best bred bulls in. the Dominion. Dairy farmerwho arc desirous of improving their herds, would do well to write to Mr Newton King, New Plymouth, for ?. catalogue, which will be forwarded on application.
