The jury in the compensation eases arising out of the accident to the West Coast coach oh New Year's Day (Messrs Moynihan and Co. heing the defendants), awarded the plaintiffs damasrcs as follows: Archibald Neill. £'-if,*l (amount claimed): Henry •Tames TTongood and Alice Hopwood £V2Z (claim £250): Mrs Birlev £7**s •'claim £5lO 10s). The Judge held over the question of costs.
