TO-DAY'S WEATHER
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following report:— The weather has been generally fair with showery weather on the West 'Coai't of the South Island, and squally at times in Foveitux Strait. Moderate to strong westerly winds' have predominated. The barometer is high everywhere but showing a falling tendency. Present indications are for .increasing northerly and westerly winds", fair to cloudy weather,- unsettled on the West Coayt ;nd southern districts cf the South Island, and a slowly decreasing barometric pressure.
