COST OF LIVING
SYDNEY, August 21. (Received Last Night, 11.5■ o'clock.) The Sydney Daily Telegraph in an article dealing with the rise in prices of household commodities during the past twelve, mouths, stated -that groceries had increased well over eight per centum, while fruit, veget.iblos, fish and milk had all considerably-en-hanced values. The article points out that in the ten years ended 1911, the wages of factory liands had increased 'ever. a hundred per centum.
