OTAKI-MAORI RACING CLUB. Monday and Tuesday, September 23rd and 24th, are the days fixed for the Spring Meeting of the OtakiMaori Racing Club. A very good programme has been drawn up, with an increase of stakes in several of the races. On each day there is a Hack Hurdle Race, and the open and hack flat events all have liberal stake money, ranging from £SOO to £7O, the. lattor being the sum allotted to the Maiden Plate and Trial 'Plate. The Otaki Club ought to think about increasing the distance of several of its five and six furlong races. Nominations close on August 31st.
