POLICE CHARGED AMAZING DISCLOSURES. (Received. August 15, 1 p.m.) NEW YORK, August 14. The disclosures of «raft in connection with the city police force are amazing. Banks and clearing-houses are aiding the District Attorney's and Grand Jury's investigation. The outcome of the banks' investigations is that there has been disclosed the fact that there exists a regular tariff of graft, payable monthly to policemen by gamblers and keepers of disorderly houses. The detectives find that Lieutenant Becker, who is under arrest for the murder of the gambler Rosenthal, lodged ten thousand pounds sterling in a bank within a single year. Other startling disclosures are promised. The revelations have stirred the entire city.
