BURGLARS AT WORK
AN EXCITING INCIDENT. (Received Last Night 10.10 o'clock.) SYDNEY, August 15. Burglars were again active during the last few days. One «afe has been robbed, and in> two other cases futile attempts have been made. A resident of Waverley fired at a. man ivho was entering his house a,ud chased him. The burglar knocked his pursuer down and escaped. The Pest Office safe at Matong was br-Aen open, and a sum of £4O stolen.
