WANGANUI, Last Night. The Wanganui branch of the A.S.R.S. passed a resolution protesting against the proposal to import a general manager of railways on the retirement of Mr T. Ronayne. The meeting urged the promotion of one • of the New Zealand officers, who are qualified as well as conversant with Now Zealand '.requirements.
