The second day of the Canterbury Jockey Club's Grand National meeting was held in beautiful weather, in the. presence of a large attendance. The following are the results of the day's racing:—Hunt Club Cup.—Shillelagh ], Morihiko 2, Laghmor 3. Summer Handicap.—Kilmeny 1, Ngatimaru 2, Brown Trout 3. August Handicap.—Crown Pearl 1, Query 2. Lad rone 3. Grand National Hrudlc Race. — Waterworks- 1, Paisano 2, Uranium 3. The Native won the race by two lengths, but was disqualified for jostling Paisano. C. Price, 'rider of The Native, "was disqualified for twelve months. Beaufort Steeplechase.—Glen more •1, Hautere 2, Sir Lethe 3. Spreydon Hade Hurdles.—Beacon 1, Aema 2, Silver Ciuse 3. Islington Handicap.—La Rein a • 1> Countermine 2, Brown Tront 3.
