ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL

MEETING,

The forty-fifth annual congregational meeting of tho Masterton Knox Church was hold last evening. Tho six o'clock tea wa.s held in the schoolroom in charge of the ladies of tue church, and the tables were profusely laden., After tea, those present retired to the Church, where a very large congregation was present to 'receive tho annual report df tb.e session and the financial (statement. The adoption of the report was m->v-<xl by Mr E. Feist, seconded by Mr 1). Finlnyson, and unanimously carried. '"

Addresses were delivered by the Revs. E. E. Tennent (Mnrtinboroug;i), G. K. Stowell (Featherston), G. JL Ralph (Eketihuna), and J. Rattray (Pongaroa).

Musical items were rendered by Musfjee «J. McGregor and Petrie, Mr C. Ibbettson, and Rev. L. Thompson

A vote of thanks was moved by M-: .1. McGregor, and a most enjoyable and helpful evening was brought to a '<" lose by the singing of the Doxology.
