I CLEARING SALE AT KAKAIIIKI. '• ' ' 1 I Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd.,, report having held a highly successful sale of Mr ]). 1). Sneddon's dairy herd, etc,, on Friday. The whole herd of 63 cows wns offered to a large- attendance of .buyers, and made the excellent average of £B, selling a-s high as £l2 7s 6d. We quote.: Cows in milk £5 5s to £B, late ealvers . £4 ICs. cows on the drop and calving factory dates from £7 10s to £l2 7s 6d, springing heifers to £7, weaner heifers £2 7s, weaner steers 35's 6d, weaner bulls £3 14s. hulls to £4 2s 6d, ewes in lamb 10s 4d, mare £9 2s 6d. spring carters to £G 10s, 2-year geldings £los to £l3 ss, yearlings up to £B. Pics, slips 19s, sows £3 to £3 lis to £5, boar £1 6$ fid. Sundries, etc., sold at late rates. Ihe Dominion Milling Machine was not sold and is now for private sale at a verv low figure.
