Dags, to recommend Mesf/.-c. R. D. Knight and Q. Don lld as judges. ■FIELD EXPERIMENTS. Mr G. de S. Baylies, Field Instructor to the Agricultural Department, ■suggested -that experiments should bo tried this season, with ma'izp for lamb feed, a::d maize for d:.iry feed. Mr Bayliss also suggested experiments in the growing (.•]■ swedes of various varieties.—The communication was referred to the Agricultur.il Committee. THE LAMB SUPPLY. Mr T. W. McKenzie wrote, stating that his cup had been awarded for the best quality and heaviest lamb?, and most value per head on the London market. These conditions, lie alleged, had net been adhered to in any shape or form. The ehairma.'.i; .va-id there lud been a mistake somewhere. It was decided that the president confer with Mr McKenzie 011 tlie subject. GROUND COMMITTEE. The report of the Crouind Committee was read. The caretaker reported having (inir.hed topping the avenue trees, etc. Be had also finished tlie divisions of twelve horse stalls. Although the weather had 'been bid, lie was well ahead with the works laid out. It was decided that the top-' dressing at Solwny be deferred till autumn. The treasurer submitted a financial statement, showing receipts for the mouth amounting -to £3S3 12s od, and expenditure of £7O lOs. The debit balance at date was £716 Os -Id. It was decided to issue circulars to members, advising t'liem that current subscriptions are .now'due, and that the secretary be instructed to Uise every endeavour to collect outstanding sub- t seriptions, donations, and entry fees.
