(Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) MELBOURNE. August 11. The Australian .Steeplechase was won by Scrutineer, with Concave second, and Jalwarra third . Scrutineer won by a neck after a great race. Time, omin 52sec. A CHAPTER OF ACCIDENTS. (Reiecved this morning, 12.15 o'clock.*, MELBOURNE. August 11. Onl yeight of tho sixteen startors finished. The race proved fatal to three. Novnr broke his leg and iviw destroyed. Central Green broke his nock, and Tundulva broke his back, the jock.n. Decide, sustaining a fractured collt"bone.
