THE MASTER OF ELIBANK
AND MIDLOTHIAN SEAT. (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) ' LONDON, Augut 10. The Master of Elibank, who is retiring irom politics, hearing that the miners intended , nominating their agent (Mr Robert Brown) for the Midlothian seat,-asked the prospective Liberal candidate to stand for another constituency. The Master of Elibahk hopes to return to politics in five years' time.
