EPIDEMICS OF TYPHOID
THOUSANDS OK CASKS. (Received August 9, 8.20 a.m.) ROME, August 8. There is an outbreak of typhoid fever in Sicily., caused'through polluted wells. Twelve hundred are stricken in the villages of San Giovanni and Gemini alone.
