SPORTS PROTECTION LEAGUE
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. I By Telegraph—Association.,* WELLINGTON, Last Night. At the Executive meeting of tho New Zealand Sports Protection. League it was unanimously decided that tha support of tlie Wellington branch of the League be given to any proposed legislation providing for a 'reasonable increase of racing days, and to any legislation to repeal the present prohibition -.against the publication of racing divende, a petition tc thi.s effect to be forwarded to Parlament through the Hon. F. M. B. Fisher. Amendments to the constitution will be considered when the organisation work is completed. The league membership is steadily increasing. The Wellington branch has nearly 5000' members registered.
