LATE COMMERCIAL
EKETAHDNA STOCK SALE, Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their Eketahuna sale as follows: —We offered a fair yarding of sheep and a medium entry of cattle to a large attendance of buyers. Prices in sheep were in advance of recent sale reports, and we had a good clearance at prices .highly satisfactory to vendors. Young cattle sold well. Quotations : Ewes, good, 12s to 16s 3d ; poorer sorts, 9s 6d to lis Td; hoggets, good, 12s to 14s; hoggets, small, 7s to 8s; cows in calf £4 to £6 ss; empty cows'to £2; weaner calves, £2 5s to £2 10s; bulls, to £2 12s fid. The New Zealand Loan , and Mertantile Agency Co., Ltd., and Reduced report :—At our Eketahuija sale yesterday, we offered a small yarding of cattle only. Quotations: Weaners, £2 7s 6d; dairy cows, £4 18s to £6 10, hack £7 12s 6d.
