TO-DAY'S WEATHER
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. Tho Rev. D. C. Batss, of the Meteorological Office, this eraning issued the following re-port:— The barometer has shown a falling tendency everywhere to-day, but fine weather has prevailed except in northern and southernmost districts, where the conditions have been very unsettled. The winds have been variable and moderate, with easterly breezes predominating. . Present indications are for increasing haze and cloudiness, a change following shortly for rain in most parts of the country and soon northward of East Cape and Kawhia, and in Otago. Freshing easterly and northerly breezes probable generally, with a falling barometer everywhere. T:he aspect this afternoon was somewhat threatening in the far north.
