JOHNSONVILLE STOCK SALE. (By Telegraph—Special to the Age.) Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville sale as follows: —A full yarding of both sheep and cattle of good quality came forward. Bullocks were rather slow at sale, but sheep met with a good demand. Prime heavy bullocks made £9 17s to £lO ss; lighter, £9 10s to £9 12s Gd; light, £8 15s; vealcrs, 255; extra prime heavy ewes, 21s 7d to 21s 8d; medium ewes, 17s 6d to 18s 7d; plain, 15s 2d to ICs; prime heavy wethers, 23s 6d ; prime wethers, 22s to 22s 7d.

MASTERTON STOCK SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:—At Sohvay yesterday stock came forward well up to advertised list, and the quality being mostly good, we were enabled to make a clearance at rates in advance of previous markets. Good woolly ewe lambs made 12s, medium 8s to 10s, good woolly wether lambs, lis Gd; medium shorn sorts, 7s 9d to 8s 3d; aged ewes in lambs, lis; good 18-months dairy heifers, £3 Is WAIPOUA STOCK SALE. Messrs James Macintosh and Co. report having held their usual weekly sale in their Waipoua (Masterton) sale yard's en Wednesday, July 31st, when they offered a very good yarding, well above advertised numbers, which met with a ready sale, and the whole yarding, with the exception of two pens (GO in all) of sheep were sold under the hammer at prices well in advance of late rates. Quotations are as follow: —'Sheep: Fat ewes, 16s 7d; forward ewes, 12s lOd; 2 and 4-tooth wethers, 17s; f.m. ewes in lamb, 1-1-a 2d; 4-tooth to f.m. ewes in lamb, 14s; f.m. ewes in lam.b (poor condition), 9s 9d to lis Gd; lambs, 9s 9d to 10s Gd. Cattle: Station heifers in calf, £4 17s Gd; coivs in calif, £4 10s; horses and sundries, at good prices.
