A'very pretty wedding was solemnised in the Carterton Presbyterian Church yesterday, the contracting parties being Miss Isobel McGregor, second daughter of Mr and Mrs M. J. McGregor, Hikorangi, East Coast,, and Mr Edgar Leonard Nitz, Stansboro. Kaiwhata. The bride, whowas given away by her father, looked very charming in a dress of whit© muslin, with an embroidered veil, and wreath of orange blossoms, and carrying a beautiful .bouquet. Misses Barbara and Marjorie McGregor,. sisters of the bride acted as hridesmaids, and were prettily attired in white muslin, with veils aiid wreaths of pink roses. Mr D. Thompson, Stansboro, Acted as best man, and Mr Ronald Nitz, as groomsman. Tho Rev. Thompson conducted the wedding service. The wedding march wa» played by Miss Feist, Carterton, the service being fully choral. The. bride's, present to the bridegroom was a handsome dresing case, and the bride and bridesmaids received pretty peridot pendants. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Church Hall,, at which a large number of relation* and friends were present. The presents received by the happy couple were both numerous and costly.
