FIRE IN QUEENSLAND
BACON AND MEAT CANNING WORKS. (Received July 29, 10 a.m.) BRISBANE, July 29. Foggrbt, Jones and Company's Bacorii and Meat Canning Factory was totally destroyed by lire. It is eight miles distant from here, an'd there was no water and no brigade to fight the fire. The loss is estimated at £30,000. The' insurances on the building, stock and plant totalled £20,94.5 in the Royal Office. This is largely reinsured.
