CHARGED WITH CONNIVANCE IN MURDER.

NEW YORK, July 20
Stirred at the failure of the police to arrest the murderer of Rosenthal, the eiitizens have engaged private detectives to track the Criminal, in consequence of a widespread belief in the ■utter rottenness of the police fotfee.
Attention has been' directed in the public press to sustpicious circumstances, tending to prove police connivance 5n the murder, and general inaction in t|he clause of justice.
