Discussing the pro-poets for the future in connection with the wool trade., Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., state in tlidir annual review .that inhere are several factei's which are likely to ■have an (important bearing on the course, of the wool market during the 'ensuing twelve months, the fir.st of .theso being t ; he .certainty of diminished Australian' wool production owing to the severe, though short, drought recently exipc'rtenced throughout most Of the wool-growing districts of tlie Common wealth. Another is the great probability of a rov:sio l of the American wool tUriff in favour 'of oversea wwlgi'owws, some pronouncement in respect to which may be expected after the Presidential eleefi:on in Navember next. The third is the fact of (favourable trade conditions generally, practically only affected .at the present ■time by industrial troubles-.
