The results of the London judges in conneothion with the fat sheep aind lambs- corapetkiaiii liksld 'by the M.i'starton Agricultural and Piautoral Association, have .now come (to hand. The linn to whom the lambs wore consigned io London for sale, Messrs Flitter and Sans, reported that the animals were an excellent lot, and very suitable for the London .market. Placards were put Tip in the places in London where tilie elieep and Jambs, were ,sold, .stating that tihey hud been raised in the Wairarapa district, and wore killed and frozen-toy .'the Wellington -Fames' •Meat- 'Obrap vny.
The prices mi!bed were up t:> O.Vtt •per lb for lamb's and 4gd per lb .for 'big isheep—very satisfactory prices indeed, when it is taken into consideration 'that the ibcot brands of N>ew Zealand sheep and la nubs were bringing 4d and Sd respectively.
