GALES AT NELSON
THE WORST FOR YEARS.

NELSON, Last Night,
A south-easterly gale, the worst for some years, was experienced to-night. During the freight'of the wind a small tower oh the Methodist Church was demolished, trees wore uprooted, and much damage iwag done to fencing.
