BIG IRRIGATION SCHEME

SYDNEY, July 13
A large Ministerial party visited the Murrumbidgee irrigation area, which is under the Burrenjuck scheme. The Hon. A. Griffith, Minister of Public jWorkis, performed the ceremo'ny of turning on the water.
At present 445 farms, embracing 300,000 acres, are ready, for irrigation ; hut later on a much larger area will be irrigated.
