NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Masterton Borough Council, held on the 4th Day of June, 1912, IT WAS RESOLVED by way of Special '.Order that the Mast*, .ton Borough Gosuneil make a By-Law under "The -Jtliinicipal Corporations Act, 1908/ and "iiie Motor Regulation Act, 1908," the object and purport of which ByLaw are as follows: (a) To regulate the use, management and control of motor ears ami motca- cycles, and regulate the control of motor traffic generally, (b) To regulate the equipment and 'condition of motor cars and motor cycles. (c) To regulate the conduct of and impose duties on the _ drivers of motor ears and riders of motor cycles. (d) To fix and allot stands for motor cars and taxi-cabs plying for hire, and to fix fees and fares to bo charged for hire. The said resolution will ,be submitted for confirmation to (a special) meeting of the Council, to he hold in the Council Chambers, Chapel Street, on TUESDAY, fhs 16th day of July, 1912, at 7.30 p.m., at which meeting tilie day of the coming into force of the By-Law will he fixed.
