The Chamber of • Commerce Congress carried resolutions approving the movement for a trade mai-k to den'ote whether goods are rr.toufactured or produced in the British (Empire, that the Commonwealth Government 'be requested to open negotiations with the British, Canadian, and New Zealand Governments for acquiring the control of *he cable acccm' the Atlantic from Canada to Britain, and affirming ibhe desirability .for an amendment in fire in'Siirai::ee policies to cover tih'e fcss or damage by fire, in consequence of isfaiikeirs' 'riots and civil commotions. It 'wasl decided to apprcVich the' fire tondenvntcrrs on the subject.
