Judge's 'Remarks. There .were good passes hi the wit•ner's effort, though he -was 'inclined to be ai lit tie auokxlramic at 'timet', with 'ipeVhaps too much 'gesture. Hie painted the picture better thiaini the oth rs. The second prize winner gave a rather intelligent rendering;, as did -the third prize winner, but the latter was tame.
