WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Meteorological Office wired on
Saturday last:—
A westerly low pressure area passed on Saturday, and moderate to strong southerly wind, with cold and showery weather, continued generally until Sunday morning,, when clearer weather prevailed in ino.st parts of thy country. The barometer has fallen everywhere to-day. i
Present indications are for freshening northerly winds, with increasing "haze- and cloudiness for unsettled weather soon, and the barometer falling everywhere.
