CANADA AND AUSTRALIA
THE DESIRE FOR BETTER TRADE RELATIONS.

SYDNEY, July 8. Dr. Gordon, principal of Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, who is visiting here, states that there is a widespread desire in Canada for more favourable trade relations with Australia. Canada wishes to see the Commonwealth oil the same footing as New Zealand.
