The Rev. D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following report :-^-
Gloomy weather, with drizzling rain in> parts, is new reported everywhere. •Xcvtherly winds hayc rajn, strong to gale-, and the barcmoter hai> I'allen everywhere. Fressut 'indicationu are for high noivbe-rly wind.?, veering by tve:jc to southerlies shortly. Heavy rain probable' on all the western cco'st especially, and general rainfalli may be expected scon, with mow in the snath, and on the high*!' levels.; and colde.:' weather everywhere-. The barometer will be falling further for several hours in the noi'tti, but rh'ing everywhere -after about sixteen hours. Anotber westerly low prcesure area will probably bring very unsettled weather in the middle cf ilex,*/ week.
