EKETAHUNA.STOCK SALE.
Messrs Abraham, and William.?, Ltd., report as follows on their Eketaliuna stock sale :—We submitted a large yarding of fair quality sheep to a large attendance of the public. Business at auction was keen, and everything sold under the hammer at prices in favour of vendors. A distinct advance was experienced in Ireedim" 1 ewe ?? for which thc;« was ail lliivatisfied demand. Hoggets also sold reartily at higher prices while wethtsrs were also keenly sought after. In cattle wo offered a good " mixed yarding, \\ Inch met with a ready sale, everything being disposed of except one vendor's entry. Quotations':—Forward weth&ra, 15s .lid to 16s lid;' empty &wes, 13s 2d to 13s Gd and up to 15s 3d for a goodconditioned lot; 2-tooth breeding «wcs.. 1-ls lOd; s.m. owes, 14s id to 16s 3d; fair and failing mouths, 8s lOd to 10-, lOd; small hoggets in fair llsiOd to 12s 2d ; forward dairy heifers.
