At the Henley Regatta, the race for the Grant Challenge Cup was won by the Australians (rowing as a Sydney •Rowing Clulb crew). Th,< winners and the Canadian crew were practically level at three-quarters of a mile. Then the Australians forged ahead, and led at the mile by half a length. Rowing splendidly together, and showing great power, they won by a length and a quarter. Time, 7min 4secs.
