PALMERSTON N., Last Night
Mesrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows: —At our Pal merston North sale to-day we had a medium yarding of both sheep and cattle. Sheep were in keen demand, but cattle were slightly dull. Wo quote: Full mouth ewes in lambs to Southdown rams, lis lid; 2-tooth wethers, 14s id; lambs, 10s 7d to lis Id; forward ewes, 10s lid; fat cows, £4 17s (3d to £5 4s 6d; dairy cows, £5 to £6 10s ; yearling heifers, £2 9s ; yearling steers, £3; mixed weaners, 3Gs; heifers in calf, £4 lis.
