LONDON, July 3. The- match between Australia and Yorkshire was drawn. Rain fell all night, but ceased at 8.30 a.m.. The wicket was soft, but was drying. When play was started at 2 o'clock the weather was bright, and the wicket easy. The attendance was small. Wilson and Denton resumed, Whitty and Hazlitt having charge of the bowling. Runs came steadily, fifty being scored in an hour and the century in 105 minutes. Twenty-four runs had been added when KelleAvay bowled Denton. Tlie retiring batsman had played for 95 minutes, and his runs were mostly gained by ofF driving and pulling. He hit seven fours. In the next over Drake was run out.
