MAURCEVILLE COUNTY COUNCIL
KGNYHL.Y MEETING,
The County Council met on Saturday, the 30th June. Present,— Crs. C. ChiurcliiiM Jackson (chairmani), H. J. Bagg, C. Seymour.-, h. P. Larsen, J. E, Perry rljid R. Judd. Messrs Farrow and Pilni'M- wrote requesting that a dangerous part of the Kaiparoro Road be widened, a Email! culvert put in, scrub cut, and large boulders .shafted.
The secretary to the Hospital and Charitable. Aid Board forwarded copy of the estimates for 1912-13. A resolution: passed by the Stratford County Council, pretesting aga.ir.at the Government's action on. refusing any further loans to local anthcri'tic;.' wh!o have already obtained £SOOO in loans under the Now Zraknd State Guaranteed Advances Act, 1903, was received.
Schedules of 'accrued thirds were forwarded by the Receiver of Land R> vomie.
F. Tildesley wrote, drawing attention to holes in Youngson's bridge, and need for water tables .being cleaned.
The resolutions passed at the Conference with the Ekefcahuna County Couiucil on the 6th of June were, adopted.
It was decided to defer striking the general rate for the current year until .next meeting. Cr Seymour was authorised ,to see what can be done, to meet Messrs Farrer and Palmer's reqiui't for improvements on Kaiparoro road.
